Tinha um código simples que era apenas:

Ele me enviava um post com um file que eu upava no meu servidor, porém surgiu a necessidade de tratar essa imagem antes de enviar ela para o servidor.

Agora me falta saber como enviar essa imagem na base64 pro servidor e trabalhar com ela pra que fique no formato de como se fosse um input do tipo file

Você pode incluir um campo hidden no seu form, e atualizar ele automaticamente:

<input type="hidden" name="imagem" id="imagem" value="">

E no JS atualizar o campo automaticamente:

if (result.src) {
  jQuery("#cropped").attr("src", result.src);
  jQuery("#imagem").attr("value", result.src);
}

Desta forma, ao enviar o form, o resultado estará no campo "imagem".

Dica: se for armazenar a imagem em um DB, provavelmente é melhor decodificar o base64 e armazenar os dados originais em um BLOB, e o mime-type correto num campo separado, ou melhor ainda, converter em arquivo de imagem.

Salvar dados em base64 quase sempre é indicativo de falta de técnica.

  • Eu vou enviar essa imagem pro servidor, não vai ficar salva no db não. Agora estou dando uma procurada de como decodificar essa imagem no lado do servidor, pra enviar diretamente como uma imagem. Quando digo servidor, é um bucket da aws 26/12/2016 às 13:44
